Roses...
Roses are perhaps the most beloved flowers of all time! Over the years, each different color of rose became associated with a particular sentiment. Suitors would send a bouquet of roses to their sweetheart to convey a message based upon the color of the rose. Here is a sample of rose colors with their meanings:
Red: Love, Respect, Courage
Pink: Grace, Joy, Forgiveness
Orange: Fascination |
Yellow: Friendship, Jealousy, Happiness
White: Purity, Honesty, Eternal Love
Lavender: Sincerity, Pleasure, Enchantment |
While The Rose Shop does carry a wide variety of rose colors, remember that not all colors will be available at all times. And with modern breeding, many more bi-color options can be had, such as Laguna (white with pink tips), Konfetti or Circus (yellow with orange/red tips), or Latin Lady (petals white outside with red insides). Be sure to ask your floral associate which colors are in stock when you call!
